Home home on the range.
Where my neighbors are all kinda strange.
But I will not be harmed.
Even though they're all armed.
In the country where things rarely change.
(Catches up with thread)
Er... have you people read what you've been writing? Yow! You should save that kind of stuff for the overnight thread!
Observations from the day:
❶ Wedding today had a higher proportion of ink and metal (tats and piercings) than I've ever seen at a wedding. Nice ceremony, though.

Dogs who like mud but are averse to clean water - I wonder if their "thinking" is, "don't swim in the stuff you drink"?

Morning, y'all.
Decided to start with the feel-good story first.
Vic had the feel-good story about the dog, too.
Some dogs be very naturally smart.

Regular preemptive sound deterrence - exactly!
There are distinctively different barks for general deterrence and "something's out there!"

PET THREAD! I wondered if I'd enjoy this. I do. Thanks!
And Meth Lab is hilarious.
Last night I dreamed we were driving around looking for our dog who had run off. We found the dog. Only, it was a female look-alike of our good old boy dog who we had with us the whole time.
Seamus Muldoon: He chose that major because he liked working with baby dogs. Six semesters in he still hasn't figured out his initial mistake.
Milady Webworker read your comment, and to "I'm sure you can imagine what happened next," she said, "Oscar and Figaro got you back for leaving them in the hall!" Right?

Awreddy? That's just not fair. This thread is hardly used yet, and now the horde will just moooove on.
You have my sympathy, Crank. Nothing as loyal as a good dog. Milady was asked tonight how old our dog was, and she answered, 13, and then realized, no, has to be several years older.
I've been barking to go out, then in, then out, then in, all morning. Dumb old human finally figured out that I'm trying to get him to come walk with me.
A comparison study of pet responses.
Well, enough lurking on your chitchat. Pets demand food.
steevy, yes, that's exactly what this looks like. Thank you, encyclopedic horde knowledge, steevy department.
Friends,
Our dear ol' Defender Doggie has problems.
