The Teddinator showed once again that he’s the king of debate as an angry Trumpgendered woman accosted him on the campaign trail and spouted off all the Trump talking points she could as incoherently as possible. He patiently, graciously, and rationally explained to her that she’s full of it…

Democratic presidential candidate former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton promised that her Cabinet would be 50% women if she is elected president during a town hall on MSNBC on Monday.…

1. Quantities over qualities - what a sexist.

2. How could she be elected president during a town hall on MSNBC?

…Now, before we get the Cruz campaign response let me just say one thing: how stupid are you people? Do you honestly believe that if someone were giving out a bribe to a delegate they would do it in front of an enormous crowd, at a campaign stop? Are you complete and utter morons?

If you shared this video you probably are.

I mean honestly, you have shamed your family and every one of your ancestors by your abject idiocy if you shared that with the dim-witted expectation that it’s actually proof of a bribe.…

…Trump supporters have really got to stop trying to link this Liberal New Yorker to Ronald Reagan. Every time they do they fail miserably. The latest claim is, sure Trump has really high negatives, but so did Ronald Reagan in 1980 at this stage in the process.… long-time pollster Gallup corrects the record…

Cliff Kincaid, Noisy Room / Accuracy in Media • Fri 2016 Apr 22, 1:04pm

The debate over Donald J. Trump’s charges of a “rigged” Republican primary system demonstrates that Trump wasn’t a Republican to begin with. As a Democrat who became a Republican just to seize the nomination, he seems to have had no understanding of how the Republicans operate and manage their presidential nominating process… Rush Limbaugh and Joseph Farah maintain that Trump, the master of complex real estate deals, completely understood the Republican rules but chose to ignore them so that he could accuse the GOP of being corrupt.

If this is the case, then Trump’s campaign is even more of a hostile takeover than anyone imagined.…

No state in the coming weeks of the Republican presidential contest is viewed by the campaigns as more consequential than Indiana — and none has been a bigger black hole for polling, where not a single public survey of the state’s electorate has been released.…

Some were skeptical of earlier reports that the Trump campaign actually paid in cash for the favorable coverage it receives from Breitbart News (which even Trump apologist Rush Limbaugh has called “Trumpbart” on air). However, now we have confirmation of money changing hands:

Breitbart’s national security editor Sebastian Gorka received a one-time payment of $8,000 from Donald Trump’s presidential campaign last October, Federal Election Commission records show.…

Dayammm… el TedNado shut down Sean Hannity’s idiotic whining about the elections that he lost.… Hannity is focused a million percent on questions about past elections because he knows that pushes Trump’s narrative. And Cruz doesn’t let him get away with it.…

I often switch off Hannity when he's interviewing someone, because Hannity always seems to be talking over the end of what someone is saying, more concerned about getting his next question or point in than in listening to his guest. Ted stands up to that pretty well. What's notable is not that Cruz gets testy in places, but that he controls it so well dealing with Hannity the Provoker.

…Rush then said, “Well, hot damn. This is one of the best damn tricks I have ever seen. They just sabotaged Cruz at this thing.” There’s no way to know who for sure did it, but it was a collaborative event. Limbuagh thought that conservatives on their web sites and social media would blow up at that point. Not so much.

What did happen was mind blowing. When he did see a thread concerning the whole setup, it was the exact opposite of what he expected. The theme was Cruz was so boring, Cruz was so bad, Cruz is so hated that nobody listened to him. The media on site as witnesses were tweeting and reporting that nobody listened to Cruz, that the crowd was getting up and walking around and milling around and being rude, that the whole room had tuned Cruz out. Which was not true. This was a smear job… a hit job… Cruz got mugged in New York. So much for New York values.

What was Limbaugh’s reaction? He just smiled and said, “Whoever put this together is a genius.”…

[Cruz's security detail to Glenn Beck:] … Immediately, without hesitation, they turned to me — we’re standing kind of in a line. They turn to me and walk in front of me and look me in the eye, and one of them — the first one said, “I have done this for a long time. I’ve protected all of them. I have never seen a man like him. No matter where he is, no matter what shape he’s in, no matter how tired, how pissed off, no matter what the scenario, I’ve never seen a man as consistently true as him. …Trump sells the myth of American success instead of the real thing. …the New York values Trump represents are the very worst kind. He exemplifies the seamy side of New York City - the Ponzi schemers and the Brooklyn Bridge sellers, the gangster traders like Bernie Madoff and the celebrity gangsters like John Gotti — not the hard work and sacrifice that built New York and America.… No one who has lived under dictatorship takes human values lightly, especially those like justice and liberty… Every day I have reason to thank Ronald Reagan and the generations of Americans who sacrificed and fought for the freedom of those of us trapped behind the Iron Curtain.… Unfocused anger makes people vulnerable to political snake-oil salesmen touting simple solutions and utopian outcomes. It opens the door to the aggressively uninformed authoritarianism of Trump as well as to Bernie Sanders and his siren song of socialism.…
