Mighty Mouse v Underdog? Nooooo!
Somebody somewhere asked if the Black Panther had met his Pink cousin. I thought, I should pass that team-up idea along to SuperTeam Family, but, then, I reconsidered.
If I was ever aware of "Super-Dagwood" (from comics not strips, I presume) I have long forgotten it.
Dagwood / Jughead / Wimpy is truly inspired, though. "It's Tuesday!" Bwhahaha.
Just checked out the A&J color dailies this week compared to last. Looks t'me like a more subtle, woodsy palette, shaded backgrounds. Nice.
PoliticalClownParade, yeah, my abacus put me at 2 yrs younger than Pete, too. But I figured it based on 10¢ comic book price.
For some reason, this team-up just astonished me. Yes, yes, yes, I would buy that comic!
I'm waiting to read the whole comic on the office big screen when I can take my time to give your stories their due attention. BUT...
Oboy oboy oboy, was there ever such anticipation of the next issue? Wow-in advance.
FreeLiveFree asked, "Have you ever done a Badger cover?"
On the one hand-- Laugh-out-loud hilarious cover.
On the other hand, I'm not sure Cherry wouldn't be more likely to open that towel and smile about it.
That's a funny one.
Willowed, but anyway...
...live-action Cherry Poptart movie...
Omaha the Cat Dancer - actual plot and story (of sorts) included.
Burnt Toast: The original caption was, "who knew I was joking when I said, Allahabad ackbar! I have a bomb!"
Alternative caption:
Wow, I really need to sell some drawings and make some bucks. Mmm. Lessee, New Yorker readers.. elitists... dimwits... ah! I've got it! (starts scribbling)
Me: What was that caption Ace was going to put on all cartoons?
Splunge: I think it was Iowahawk...
Well, thanks; now I've had my fill of the New Yorker for the year. By Day 2.
What was that caption Ace was going to put on all cartoons? Apply it to this one...?
Getting caught up, again, on a few days' posts. I know the day, as a whole, is still the same 24hrs, but why does it seem like they're getting shorter for real?
After avoiding it for so long, I got a copy of the 3-hour Director's Cut of Watchmen, and last week I watched it. (So, I watch-a the watchmen, to answer the question.)
Hola tambien.
Had some connection problems there for a while, but I appear to be back on.
Read up to #200, then skipped to current. What did I miss that's invaluable?

Trimegistus: ...can I request a ban on the term "The Big Easy"? ... It was invented out of whole cloth in the 1970s, and needs to be retired like most other bad ideas from that decade.
Nice collection of Santa Supers, Ross.
A very merry Christmas to you, and looking forward to a new year of the greatest stories never told but should've been!!
Wayne Allen Sallee - Xxxenophile, I think. Another well-illustrated and fun bit of perversity.
Ross, Nice work combining grass skirts!
Hardly ever read a Haunted Tank. Knew there was a Tank Girl, but not much about. But, the crossover made me laugh. Good one.
I remember buying that Sgt. Fury. And that FF. Silver Surfer. Heh.
Oh, like "professional quality" as opposed to "being paid for it." Okay. Thanks, Grunt, Pete.
:D
An Observation: The problem with Comic Books is that they may train the mind to need pictures to go along with words for comprehension - thus stunting the ability of the mind to understand witho
Subjects: comics, Life, literacy, reading, Spider-Man, Steve Ditko
The cover works. Good rhyme.
"Archie is getting a reboot. The last issue (#666) will be released in June…" —Alan Gardner, Daily Cartoonist
Grunt: "I’ll go back and revise backward…"
