The local burb has made wide news again with more bad parents. At least this time, all the kids live.
Nice find webworker, that was a fun read. Guy touched every single one of our lives.
I always read the local obits (just to make sure I'm not in there). Found this yesterday:
Last night's ONT had a discussion of getting away with murder (including a much-too-long; didn't-read by zombie).
Downtown park has a "fantasyland of lights," really cute displays, with twinkle lights portraying various Christmasy things, some animated, like Santa stuck in a chimney, the 12 days, snowman melti
Downtown park has a "Festival of Lights." Lots of displays, some animated, created entirely with twinkle lights.

I knew you all would want to know about the follow-up on this local story that has gained national press attention. The question always was, harmless prank or big jerks?
My final item, and last bit of news from the heart of Flyover Country.
Attention! All units! Be on the lookout for a nine-foot T Rex!
I want to salute the local police for their latest brilliant crime-solving work.
Grunt's amazing Christmas Review 2014 post ended with a Michael Martin Murphey album cover. (Do I show my age saying album?)
Oh, hey, in local news, here in beautiful Smallville, Mid-America. Looks like we've got a new pizza place. Must be the fourth one opened up this year.

Been nice to have some time to hang out around the garden. I've got one more link for today. Local story.
Neighbors from the home town. I like my town. These do not present its best face. So, they're not listed publicly. You can watch them, though.
Must-see Tee Vee link below. Sorry CDR M, I didn't get this passed to the Cobs - y'all ask for suggestions, but I never remember to do so. You should pick up stuff from the comments!
