I usually fed the cats after a look and a hello on the THC, but the little carnivores are really giving me the ol' hairy eyeball...
I had just refreshed my coffee and was heading back to the desk when I was waylaid by a mob of furry alarm clocks reminding me it was their chow time.

Forgot to mention beaver, muskrat and otters on the Mississippi. Also, every species of bird known to man, with bald eagles by the score.
I forgot our most numerous large bird, turkey vultures!
Also, others remind me, oppossums and armadillos.
