Donnalee asked: Was that Cab Calloway introducing him?
Pretty sure not. Can't remember the guy's name, but he mainly hosted this variety show, IIRC.
Here's a YouTube classic some of y'all might not have seen.
Flash mob in Moscow, Russia 26.02.1
Funniest thing about this list is how many of those things I've seen in just the past week or two!
I thought, I've seen this recently, I don't need to watch it. Then, of course, watched the whole thing. It's a stunt, but it shows off his talents remarkably well.
There's also a video where the photography was un-tricked so you can better understand how it was done.
Milady and I enjoyed watching this. A song that just doesn't seem to get old, and a great selection of dance numbers.
Bluebird is still gone? I don't think I can handle the withdrawals. How 'bout you? Here's some "while the bluebird's away" tide-me-overs.
Well, back from a wonderful Nutcracker performance. Daughter was perfect in multiple rôles.
I'll have to read this later
I'm a big S Muldoon backer
But have to go watch Daughter
Dance in the Nutcracker
bob: …Most of the time they’re just singing, which is great, but not quite what I need for happy dance Friday.…
Newly-recorded: three songs, one instrumental, plus a cartoon, and black & orange Hallowe'en cats!
Can't dance as I used to do.
Seen it frequently, before, but just watched it twice again just now, with Milady and daughter. So amazing.
Wow. Just... wow. Thanks for posting this!

Hellow, fellow sophisticates. I just returned from seeing cultuah! Even wore my tie and my shiny shoes. Yes, and pants!
Daughter said she needs to practice shimmying for her role as Romani in the local ballet company's Spring production, Dracula.
People didn't just break out in song for no fucking reason complete with orchestral accompaniment.

Survived another Nutcracker ballet. My Inner Kid who grew up on Mad Magazine still thinks it's a nutty art form, but my Refined Adult appreciates that it has its moments.
It's cold. It's wet. It's freezing wet drizzly rain ice stuff all over everything.
Hope I can remember to watch those videos on the desktop later. Just looking at the thumbnails is scary enough.
Fed the pets, had a cup of coffee. Still can't figure out the post.

Things that, twenty years ago, I would not have thought I would find myself saying:
Subjects: Batman, dance, Dead Sea Scrolls, Israel, Mars, money, NASA, New World, procrastination, robot, scripture, sex
Two monks, joyously dancing. More details in main article…
