Used up my ONT time watching vid, including the Dr Who Christmas special. It was pretty good. (Or, maybe it just seemed so because the past season was so bad.)

Dr Who: Oh, and between the accents and the overbearing noise and music, I need subtitles. Sometimes we back up two or three times and still can't figure out what someone's saying.

Saturday's Dr Who (bear with me, don't judge me), 2nd part of a 2-parter, the ending, was interesting, if wordy and tedious and ultimately kind of stupid beaaause...
We found this quirky, silly British SF show on PBS, late at night. Got into watching it, even if we'd often miss an episode and have no idea what was going on.
Dr Who - Baker was my first and therefore only, but we've been re-watching the Tennant and Matt Smith episodes. They stand up pretty well - they had fun.
Arrrr and shrivel yer timbers, me glorious morning hearties!
And new Doctor Who tonight if you can get it.
