Witherspoon reminded me of my own non-intox'd ignorance when I got stopped one time. Never been frisked, suspected, or similarly hassled by a cop before, or since.

The cops didn't go looking for it (warrant needed), they were presented with it cleanly.
Officer "10 bullets in your ass" Harless has "earned several commendations," but 16 complaints.
Can't say for sure whether things have really changed that much in the last 50 years, but it sure seems like Peace Officers have become Crime Warriors.
